Preparation time; 20 minutes
Total time: 40 - 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 slices of bread, each cut to 4 mini squares
- 1/4 bulb of onion, sliced
- 1 can tuna with oil, shredded
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 250 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 3 slices of cheddar cheese
- all spices
- 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of pepper
Direction:
- Preheat oven to 180 deg C, line pie pan with butter
- Arrange half of the bread on the pan, scatter sliced onion and tuna evenly on top
- Mix melted butter, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg
- Pour the half of egg mixture
- Add layer of cheddar slice
- Cover with the remaining bread
- Pour the remaining egg mixture, sprinkle with shredded cheddar and all spices
- Bake for 20 - 25 minutes
